My experiences in advocacy and development can add an eye to your communication projects (letter, email, website, outreach)
My services are unique in the wide field of consultants because there are no set fees. There is no flat fee. Cost for nonprofit organizations and causes is based on ability to pay.
Review questions:
Once we decide on the scope of your project we
must ask a few basic questions:
1) How long is the desired timespan?
Is there a need to close a sale or a client quickly?
Are you working with an institution that maintains
a seasonal cycle?
2) How can we survey what you're already doing?
Is there an established marketing campaign?
What is being said when calling the prospects?
What is being offered on the website?
3) Who is your competition?
If we don't know the answer to this question,
it may point to gaps in value.
Culture has many different side effects. After graduation, I was designed on a career and upward mobility - the programmed route. After being confronted personally with the savage nature of suicide (still quite taboo) while working at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention my comfort with accumulating capital as a life goal quickly eroded. Ever since, creating a work pace which allows community reinvestment, development and community empowerment has been my focus.
Nonprofits and Small Businesses
Currently, my work is focused on messaging, connecting with audiences and simplifying websites. Small business owners are also being helped to manage their work-flow and develop client relationships from scratch.
Consumer Advocacy

I try to also make myself available for consumer advocacy as much as possible. This has included working with folks on many things including:
Medical bills Slumlords Utility Bills
Credit Card Interest Rates Expense Management Collection Agencies/Credit Scores
Do not pay an "agency" hundreds of dollars to abuse your trust. Most of the remedies for these issues are very simple. It requires very little money to handle letters, document review and conference calls (with creditors) to solve these issues.
There's no need to pay a consultant $35 per hour.
We can work together on a variety of projects using my unique skills:

clean up website organizing
simplify your donation webpage (many are far too complex)

add fresh new language that your audience can understand
simplify content (much can be stripped away)

evaluate your phone scripts and phone presence
prepare for a speech or presentation

train your volunteer coordinator
